Dancing Crane Center of Chinese Medicine is a modern, well-equipped health care facility specializing in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
It occupies over 6000 sq. ft. in downtown Salem, Virginia. When you walk through the door you enter a lovely reception area with a beautiful and tranquil fountain, which is constructed of natural stone gathered form the surrounding area. This helps to create a more relaxing and natural environment. Through the use of color, lighting and texture the five elements of Chinese Medicine are brought into play to give the facility the proper Feng Shui. This creates both an energizing and tranquilizing effect.
There are five treatment rooms all equipped to provide the very best that Chinese Medicine has to offer.
LECTURES / FOOD THERAPY
There is also a lecture room where classes are held. Dancing Crane offers classes in various aspects of Chinese Medicine including Asian bodywork therapy/Tui Na, philosophy, Chinese Medical Principles, and food therapy. The 
food therapy classes are always popular because not only are the principles of Chinese Food Therapy taught and discussed but also the dishes are prepared and sampled by the participants.
PHARMACY
Dancing Crane has a Patent Medicine Pharmacy of over 100 different medicines as well as an herbal pharmacy of over 250 different loose herbs. This insures that each individual will receive exactly what he or she needs. Each herbal prescription is "tailored" to the individual and modified over time as the patient's condition changes.
BAGUA ZHANG,QI GONG,MICROCOSMIC ORBIT, CLASSES / EVENTS
The upstairs of Dancing Crane is a spacious conference area of over 2200 sq. ft. This area is used for BagGua,Tai Chi,Qi Gong, Microcosmic Orbit classes as well as special events. PLEASE CONSULT our calendar for the dates, times and discriptions for all of the activities offered.
LIBRARY
Dancing Crane has a library of over 1500 different books and additional journals magazines and lecture tapes. Texts cover a wide range of topics in Chinese Medicine, Asian Bodywork Therapy, Eastern Philosophy and Western Medicine.

Is certified by the National Certification Commission for acupuncture,herbology, Asian bodywork therapy and Oriental Medicine.He is licensed by the Virginia State Board of Medicine as a Licensed Acupuncturist.
In addition to acupuncture treatment,Asian bodywork therapy/Tui Na, herb therapy,martial arts, and educational classes, Dancing Crane also carries a variety of teas, liniments, and other health care products.
Initial consutation lasts for an hour and a half and is $85.00, including treatment. Follow up treatments range from $45-$65.00 , pediatric treatments are $35.00. Cost of herbs is seperate.
